Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the squad for the first and second T20 Internationals against West Indies.
Captain Litton Das returns after recovering from a side strain. Litton had missed the later part of the Asia Cup 2025 and the T20 international series against Afghanistan in the UAE due the injury. In his absence, Jaker Ali Anik led the side to a 3-0 clean sweep over Afghanistan despite losses to India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup.
However, there’s disappointment for all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin. He has been dropped from the squad. Saifuddin was one of Bangladesh’s standout performers in the final T20I against Afghanistan in the last series where he picked up 3 wickets for just 15 runs in 3 overs. But the selectors opted to rest him this time due to team combination plans.
The series will be played at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram with the matches scheduled on 27, 29 and 31 October:
