Afghan cricket star and leg-spinner Rashid Khan has publicly confirmed his second marriage, just ten months after his first wedding.
On Tuesday (11 November), Rashid shared a photograph with his second wife on his Instagram account, confirming the news. Reports indicate that he married his second wife on 2 August. She is of Afghan descent and currently resides abroad.
Rashid’s first wedding took place in Kabul, Afghanistan, in October last year. On the same occasion, his three brothers also got married.
It remains unclear whether Rashid has divorced his first wife. Notably, the cricketer had previously pledged not to marry until after winning a World Cup several years ago.
