This December will see the start of the Under-19 Asia Cup, where eight teams will compete across two groups. Bangladesh have been drawn in Group B alongside Afghanistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
Although Afghanistan are the designated hosts, the competition will be staged in the United Arab Emirates. The tournament opens on 12 December, with India taking on hosts UAE in the first fixture.
Bangladesh will launch their campaign on 13 December when they meet Afghanistan at the ICC Academy Ground. Their next match, against Nepal, is scheduled for 15 December at The Sevens Stadium.
The Young Tigers will conclude their group-stage fixtures on 17 D ecember with a match against Sri Lanka at the ICC Academy Ground.
In Group A, India and Pakistan are once again placed together, promising another high-profile showdown. The UAE and Malaysia make up the rest of the group. The India–Pakistan match will be held on 14 December at the ICC Academy Ground.
The semi-finals will be played on 19 December, featuring the top two teams from each group, while the final is set for 21 December at the same venue. All matches are scheduled to begin at 9 pm Gulf Standard Time.
