The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has issued No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for Mominul Haque, Mustafizur Rahman, and Taskin Ahmed to participate in foreign leagues until 23 December. Shahriar Nafis, In-Charge of BCB’s Cricket Operations, confirmed the announcement.
Mominul Haque has already departed for Australia and will represent Blacktown District Cricket Club in the New South Wales Grade Cricket. The league, organised by the Sydney Cricket Association, has a long-standing tradition, with renowned players such as Steve Smith and Mitchell Starc having played there.
Mustafizur Rahman left Bangladesh on Thursday night to participate in the IL T20 league in the United Arab Emirates, playing for the Dubai Capitals. Taskin Ahmed will also take part for the Shurjah Warriors.
Earlier, BCB had permitted leg-spinner Rishad Hossain to play in the Big Bash League. He will feature for Hobart Hurricanes when the tournament begins on 14 December. Both Mustafizur and Taskin are expected to return before the start of the BPL.
