After April 2023, the Ireland cricket team is set to tour Bangladesh again. During this tour, they will play two Test matches and three T20 matches against the host team. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has already released the full schedule for the series.
According to the schedule, the Ireland team will arrive in Dhaka on November 6. They will begin practice from November 8, and the first Test match of the series will be held at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium starting November 11.
The second Test match will take place at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka, starting November 19. This series is also special for Bangladesh’s experienced cricketer Mushfiqur Rahim, as staying injury-free would allow him to make history as the first Bangladeshi to play 100 Test matches.
After the Test series, both teams will move to Chattogram for the three-match T20 series. These matches will be held at Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium on November 27, November 29, and December 2, with each match starting at 6:00 PM Bangladesh time.
