Bangladesh’s Full 2026 T20 World Cup Schedule

Bangladesh have been placed in Group C for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, scheduled to be held across India and Sri Lanka in February and March. The Tigers will face a diverse set of opponents: former champions England and the West Indies, emerging Asian outfit Nepal, and debutants Italy.

The International Cricket Council finalised the groupings and fixtures yesterday. As anticipated, arch-rivals India and Pakistan have been drawn together in Group A, accompanied by the United States, Namibia and the Netherlands. Group B consists of Australia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Ireland and Oman, while Group D features South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Canada and the United Arab Emirates.

Bangladesh will begin their campaign on the opening day of the tournament, 7 February, taking on the West Indies in Kolkata. The iconic Eden Gardens will also host Bangladesh’s next two fixtures: against Italy on 9 February and against England on 14 February. For their final group match, the team will travel to Mumbai, where they will meet Nepal on 17 February under lights.

To progress to the Super Eight stage, Bangladesh must finish among the top two in their group. Each of the eight qualifying teams will play three matches in that phase, after which the best four sides will advance to the semi-finals, scheduled for 4 and 5 March. The final will take place on 8 March. Notably, the venue for the final depends on Pakistan’s progress—if Pakistan qualify, the match will be held in Colombo; otherwise, it will be staged in Ahmedabad.

Bangladesh’s group-stage fixtures are as follows:

  • 7 February – vs West Indies, Kolkata, 3:30 pm
  • 9 February – vs Italy, Kolkata, 11:30 am
  • 14 February – vs England, Kolkata, 3:30 pm
  • 17 February – vs Nepal, Mumbai, 7:30 pm
