Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has officially announced its multi-format squads for the upcoming bilateral tour of the West Indies. In a notable shift in white-ball leadership, experienced wicketkeeper-batter Kusal Mendis has been appointed captain of both the One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) teams.
All-rounder Kamindu Mendis has been handed vice-captaincy duties across all three formats. Meanwhile, the red-ball setup retains stability under veteran all-rounder Dhananjaya de Silva, who continues to lead the Test side for the tour’s two-match series.
Tour Itinerary and Match Venues
The all-format tour consists of three ODIs, three T20Is, and two Test matches. The white-ball phase of the campaign will be held entirely at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica, before the teams travel to Antigua to contest the Test series at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. The Test matches will be crucial for the ongoing 2025–2027 ICC World Test Championship cycle.
