Despite the administrative repercussions, Muzarabani has already made his mark in the ongoing IPL season. In his second appearance for KKR, playing against Sunrisers Hyderabad, he delivered a notable performance, claiming 4 wickets for 41 runs.
The PSL has established a precedent for such disciplinary measures. South African cricketer Corbin Bosch previously incurred a one-year ban under similar circumstances. Furthermore, the league is currently reviewing the status of two other players, Australia’s Spencer Johnson and Sri Lanka’s Dasun Shanaka, both of whom withdrew from PSL contracts to participate in the IPL this season.
